Gold prices in Pakistan hit a historic high for the second time in a month

Gold prices in Pakistan have reached a historic high for the second time in just one month, with significant increases in both global and local markets. Today, the price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs 1,600 per tola, reaching an all-time high of Rs 290,300.
Earlier this month, on January 24, gold prices had reached a peak of Rs 289,600 per tola. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold also saw a sharp rise, increasing by Rs 1,372 to reach Rs 248,885.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce saw an increase of $15, reaching $2,778, contributing to the upward trend in domestic prices. Along with gold, the price of silver also experienced a rise, with the price per tola increasing by Rs 59 to reach Rs 3,450.
